Do you need a burn?

Prescribed fire is an essential part of the restoration process, and an important tool for managing and caring for prairies, savannas, oak woodlands, and other fire-dependent plant communities.

We provides safe, efficient, science-based prescribed fire services. When conducting prescribed burns, our top priorities are safety and meeting ecological objectives. We carefully analyze and document fuels, topography, weather and the surrounding landscape to plan and implement your burn.

Adaptive Restoration LLC carries liability insurance that specifically covers burning and we are a member of the Wisconsin Prescribed Fire Council. Unlike others who plan for the best-case scenario, we have federal-level (NWCG) wildland firefighting training and experience with fire suppression, and we have the equipment and expertise necessary to safely implement your burn.

We conduct burns in rural, residential, urban and natural areas, including prairies, savannas, wetlands, farms, public land and research sites. To learn more about our prescribed fire services, please call us at 608-554-0411 to discuss your project.
